About Child
Protection Education of America, Inc. |
Child
Protection Education of America, Inc. (CPEA) is a national private foundation dedicated to addressing one of America’s most pressing
concerns, missing and exploited children. We work directly with parents who have missing
children and the law enforcement agencies who are in charge of their cases.
CPEA educates parents about the dangers that face their children in our
society and conducts programs to assist with that education, including
ID ME NOW
Print-A-Thons and ID ME NOW one day events.
One out of six missing
children are found because someone recognized their photograph. (This statistic
comes from the U.S. Department of Justice). CPEA plays a major role in assisting
with that photograph distribution and we also maintain a 24 hour a day/7
day a week toll-free hotline to register a missing child or report the sighting
of a missing child.
